All DFP products carry a warranty (limited to replacement of a defective part):

     A.  Against UV weathering and;

     B.  To withstand winds up to 140MPH if:

          1.   Handled and installed properly, ie no surface scratches (As this will weaken the UV protection);

          2.   Properly registered with us.

If installed properly, the only possible failure is the outer shell.

     C.   Roof Hoods: If the hood fails during the life of the roof onto which the hood was installed, remove the shell, securely cover the opening and send the part to DFP, P.O. Box 372310, Satellite Beach, FL 32937. Include your name, address and phone number. We should have received the installation date with your registration.

     D.   Wall Hoods: If the hood fails within 30 years of installation, remove the shell, securely cover the opening and send the part to DFP, P.O. Box 372310, Satellite Beach, FL 32937. Include your name, address and phone number. We should have received the installation date with your registration.

If our examination reveals a defect in our product, a replacement will be shipped immediately, at no cost to you. We'll even refund your ground shipping costs.

If we detect that the failure was not due to a defect, i.e. Act of God, etc. we'll send you a replacement, via the priority method of your choosing and bill you only our cost for the part and shipping. We will NOT add handling or other any form of charge.
